FE School Series

Get involved in your Hong Kong ePrix as part of the FE School Series, the official Formula E support series for students.

At every Formula E event, a supporting school series focuses on the next generation by encouraging students to get involved. Ten teams made up of children from local schools are each provided with a kit with which to build their very own mini electric race car. The students build the car and, come race day, compete in a special support race right on the full-length Formula E circuit.

The programme is aimed at students aged 11-16, and designed to promote sustainable engineering and technology. On race day, the students first participate in a short 20-mninute practice and qualifying session, before a 20-minute race to see which school stands atop the podium. Each identical car is 100% electric and easy to operate.
