HONG KONG, March 17, 2016 – Formula E, the world’s first fully-electric racing series, announced today that HKT has been named as title sponsor to the FIA Formula E Championship in Hong Kong, providing advanced telecommunications network, technology and services during the HKT Hong Kong ePrix.

Formula E is a ground-breaking FIA championship with races in major cities including Beijing, London and Paris. Coming into its third season this year, the FIA Formula E Championship will be hosted in Hong Kong for the first time ever on October 9, 2016 at the Central Harbourfront.

Both Formula E and HKT share a common belief in pursuing innovation, leadership, sustainability and speed. The HKT Hong Kong ePrix will take place at the Central Harbourfront, with a total track length of around 2 km and stunning views of the Central Mid-Levels.
